We Are

 

NO MURDERS DC (NMDC) is a movement to end murder in Washington, D.C. NMDC is a coalition of concerned citizen volunteers working for a MURDER FREE DC.

Guiding Principles

NMDC is based on three basic principles:

  • One murder is one murder too many.

  • When a murder happens in the city, business as usual should stop and the residents should discuss what it would take to prevent a future murder.

  • The resources to prevent murder in D.C. exist in D.C.

 

Vision

A MURDER FREE DC serves as a model to usher in a new era of justice, sustainable peace, and violence-free thinking.
